Introduction to Phlebotomy
Introduction to Phlebotomy - 12th December 2023, 14:00 to 16:00.
With Clinical Educator Claire May
Suitable for all Healthcare Professionals
This course will be run as an online training course on Zoom.
The training material covers all aspects of Phlebotomy and gives delegates a complete understanding of the theory associated with this procedure. After the training session delegates will be sent the training slides and a competency document to complete in practice with an experienced and suitably qualified Mentor. Please ensure that there is someone in practice available to oversee your work while you complete the practical elements of the course.
Once complete please retain the competency document with the course certificate to evidence proficiency; we do not need to see these once completed but you can upload them to your Learning and Development Centre account.
It is expected that you will attend the session virtually from a quiet location at which you will not be disturbed, and you will have access to a microphone and camera on your device. Every delegate must have their own device to use throughout this session. This is a requirement for attending this interactive course.
All delegates must have their own booking made through the Learning and Development Centre website to join the meeting. The name on your Zoom account should be recognisable as the name on your booking. If we cannot identify delegates they may not be admitted to the session, or certificates may not be issued after the event.
Course joining instructions will be emailed to you in the week prior to the event.
