• Understanding protected characteristics
• A brief outline of the law
• The nature of hierarchies
• Advantage and Disadvantage
• Complexities of the subject
• Creating a practical response to EDI
• How to empathise with others
• How to respond to specific needs
• How to be an ally
On completion of this course delegates will understand the basics of EDI and the need for it in the workplace. How patients are affected by EDI, and the complexity of EDI principles.
Delegates will be able to describe the role of primary care staff within the EDI framework and will have the knowledge and skills to effectively meet challenges that may arise. Delegates will be supported to continue developing their understanding and skills in this area.
If you

It is expected that you will attend the session virtually from a quiet
location at which you will not be disturbed, and you will have access to a
microphone and camera on your device.
Every delegate must have their own device to use throughout this
