Devon GP Nurse Career & Education Pipeline
NHS Devon and Learning and Development Centre have recently developed a Devon GPN Career and Education Pipeline, as part of the Devon GP Nursing strategy. The aim is to map out the range of career development, education and CPD offers available to support all General Practice Nurses in Devon including:
- newly qualified nurses who wish to work in General Practice
- experienced nurses who wish to take up a role in General Practice
- nurses returning to work in General Practice
- General Practice Nurses who are new to working in Devon

Devon Nursing New to Practice Fellowship
If you are within 12 months of qualification, or within 12 months of taking up your first post in General Practice, and you hold a substantive role in General Practice in Devon, you are eligible to join the Devon New to Practice Fellowship - a 2 year funded programme of education, peer support, career development and mentoring.
