Josh Ainslie

I joined the Learning and Development Centre in September 2023 as an Immersive Learning Technology Officer (ILTO). I graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2022 with a Masters in Psychology.  Prior to this role, I worked as a Research Assistant, investigating the use of 3D printed teeth within the Dental School. I then went on to be a developer for the University of Plymouth, developing a mixed reality dental application for HoloLens 2.

Outside of work I live in Plymouth and enjoy watching football.

My role for the Learning and Development Centre is to assist in integrating immersive technology such as virtual reality and 360 video into LDC’s simulation and learning courses.
