Dr Daisy Robinson, BA (Hons), BMBS, mRCGP
I joined Learning and Development Centre in 2018, initially for 12 months as a GP Workforce Development Fellow, before joining the team as a GP Education Lead.
I work clinically 2 days a week as a GP Partner in Mid Devon, and as a Small Group Facilitator and Professionalism Tutor at Exeter Medical School. I work one session a month for Culm Valley PCN as Clinical Lead for Child & Adult Social Prescribing and Health Coaching.
I am also a qualified GP Mentor for New to Practice GPs, as part of the New to Practice Fellowship Scheme in Devon.
My role at Learning and Development Centre involves a number of projects:
- GP Education Lead for Transition to Primary Care, Learning and Development Centre's multi-professional induction for additional roles & nurses new to working in primary care
- Design and delivery of multi-professional education and training offers, working closely with LDC Delivery Programme leads, to ensure these meet the needs of all new roles working in primary care including First Contact Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, and Personalised Care roles
- Lunch & Learn information events aimed at GPs, Supervisors, PCN Leads, Clinical Directors, to share local and national updates and learning on ARRS roles including scope of practice supervision, training and funding
- GP Lead for Practice Based Small Group Learning (a small group education/supervision offer for Primary Care Networks in Devon)
I live near Exeter with my husband and two children, and enjoy spending time on the Moor or by the Coast whenever I can.
My main working day for LDC is Wednesdays. You can email me at at [email protected]
